Residents absolutely love the extensive menus we provide along with a more intimate dining experience. We encourage loved ones to visit and join them whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert. Visitors can select from a large nutritional menu of their favorite meals plus daily chef’s specials.

Individualized Living Spaces
Each of our communities memory care communities are encouraged to personalize rooms to meet the individuality and personality of their residents. We have learned this accommodation helps residents better acclimate to their new surroundings because they feel like they’re choosing their new home, rather than being consigned.

Through Inspired Connections™, our own proprietary Life Engagement program, we strive to elevate people beyond their diagnosis through this program that nurtures and engages them through sensory level activities, artistic expression, music, reminiscing, cognitive exercises, and gentle daily movement. Each is configured to nurture the complete person, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
A dementia diagnosis should not mean the end of a meaningful life filled with purpose and joy. Quite the contrary. While it does signify a life change is forthcoming. we prefer to help celebrate all that life has been, is, and will be for those loved ones that stay in our care. This is why we call it Life Engagement.
Dementia and Alzheimer’s Support Groups
Support Groups are a wonderful tool that help family members better understand dementia care. It’s a great way to begin to heal and find added strength when needed. The dementia diagnosis may signify the beginning of a series of changes in life. It affects everyone connected in some way, and may have a tremendous impact on family–as well as friends.
While our care is geared toward memory care, we do offer support groups for other aspects that ail aging seniors. These are encouraged and may vary based on the needs of that community.
Rehab Services
J&M has great rehabilitation partners we lean on to provide inhouse services. Utilizing rehabilitation services in assisted living settings can lead to numerous benefits for residents.
Rehab services allow us to be more proactive care partners in our residents’ care. Our staff is very familiar with each of their resident’s acuity levels and the unique challenges they face and can help identify areas where they might benefit from specific rehabilitation services. A professional team of in-house rehabilitation partners works closely with each resident to develop personalized treatment plans that meet their individual needs and goals. We offer a range of skilled rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and more.
Salon Services
We offer full in-house salon services thru a partner program called Reflections Salon. Reflections Salon provides full salon services and styling specifically tailored for older adults. They contract with senior living communities to provide a variety of onsite salon services including men’s and women’s cuts, custom styles, color, and nail care. As people age, self-care is increasingly important for mental and emotional health. They are passionate about helping seniors look and feel their best.
Reflections Salon provides beauty and grooming services as a way of helping seniors maintain a healthy sense of self. Wellness goes beyond physical health and it’s no surprise that seniors consider self-care to be an important part of living well. When we take time to care for ourselves, we can reduce stress and anxiety, improve our mood, and boost our overall well-being.
